Need strapping? Why you should consider no other packaging supplier

As you might expect, here at Simpson Packaging, we really do believe that customers in a wide variety of industries should be able to take advantage of the complete range of strapping products and accessories, complete with the friendly, responsive and family-oriented customer service that we are renound for.

It's easy to underestimate just how many different forms of strapping that are available, to meet the practical needs of our customers requirements. Many of our customers depend on us solely for general purpose polypropylene hand strapping, that is a versatile, light and flexible option, available in various widths, break strains and colours. It can be specified on plastic reels or cardboard cores for machine use and even custom printed in accordance with your exact needs to display a company name and logo or specific message. 

Those customers seeking an even heavier duty option, with break strains greater than 390kgs would be best suited to use a polyester strapping. Once again available in a number of widths and break strains, polyester strapping is a cost-effective and environmentally friendly option, in addition to being safer than traditional steel strapping. That's not to suggest that steel strapping might not be the right product for you, though, and sure enough, we provide it ourselves in a choice of five widths and coil sizes, mindful that many of our customers appreciate its exceptionally high break strains for securing the heaviest of loads with sharp angles often for export.

That leaves another type of strapping that makes especially good sense for outdoor use on account of its strength and corrosion resistance: stainless steel strapping. On sale from us in 12mm and 19mm widths, this strapping is routinely used with knockdown style buckles and a tensioning tool. 

A number of customers have large volumes of items or products that require strapping often choose an automated or mechanical machine or tool.  Both semi and fully automatic strapping machines are available for supply with ongoing servicing provided when required. A full range of specific polypropylene machine strappings are also available. 

We also offer the full selection of strapping tools and accessories. Hand held tensioners, sealer tools or combination strapping tools are available in addition to automatic friction weld strapping tools. Nor should you overlook our many available strapping accessories, such as the plastic or cardboard edge protectors to prevent damage to strapped pallets or a range of static or mobile strapping dispensers.
