However, there are also many other protective packaging products that are perfectly suited to more specialised needs - and they're all available here at Simpson Packaging.

You may need to wrap certain items with edges that are vulnerable to damage, for example, in which case, there are many fine examples of edge protection that could fulfil your requirements. We offer polyethylene foam profiles, for instance, that are manufactured from LDPE foam for the best possible cushioning and impact resistance. These are available in different ‘U’ or ‘L’ shaped 2 metre length profile  sizes, making them suitable for all manner of protection applications.

We can also offer ex-stock 'U' profile foam corners for the protection of panels, tables and doors, alongside three point corner protectors in expanded polystyrene (EPS) or closed cell non-abrasive foam (PE), these being highly rated for their light weight and shock resistance. Plastic corner protectors, too, are available from us in three different types. Choose expanding corners if you are dealing with varying widths and therefore need something that will stretch in size, or go for closed corner protectors if the products are of a same thickness. Open corners, meanwhile, are ideal for three sided surface protection.

Another indispensable form of protective packaging for many of our customers is the tough, clean, non-abrasive and moisture-resistant polyethylene foam roll. These foam rolls are available ex-stock in various widths, lengths and thicknesses, with their manufacture from millions of air-filled cells affording maximum shape retention, uniform protection and cost-effectiveness. Our single-faced corrugated paper rolls are another versatile option, representing great low cost general purpose protective packaging. Available in standard 75 metre roll lengths with a large number of widths to choose from for immediate despatch.

Other lesser-spotted protective packaging that is nonetheless greatly valued across our customer base includes the plastic corrugated sheeting that is ideal for protecting floors or wrapping around areas - like door frames - especially susceptible to damage. For those in need of effective voidfill, meanwhile, there can barely be a more attractive option than the Flo-Pak^® Green loosefill/voidfill chips that are dust-free and interlock to fill up all of the voids in a box.
