Edge protection, for instance, can be a nightmare to attempt to achieve to a good standard, particularly with regard to especially awkwardly-shaped items. That’s why we’re delighted to be able to offer polyethylene foam profiles that have been manufactured from LDPE foam to provide impeccable cushioning and impact resistance. Various foam profile shapes and sizes can be specified in line with the widest range of needs, including ‘U’ and ‘L’ shaped profiles.

Continuing with the edge protection theme, we also stock such options as plastic corner protectors, including expanding corners that stretch to size, closed corner protectors for items of the same thickness and open corners for three-point surfaces. You can also turn to us for solid cardboard edge protectors in standard one-metre ‘L’ shape lengths, with ‘U’ shape profiles also able to be made on request. They are invaluable when you need to protect products from strapping, stabilise pallets or reinforce cartons, and it’s worth bearing in mind that custom printing is also available.

Plastic is also a key material used in protective packaging, as shown by our plastic corrugated sheeting that works brilliantly as floor protection or when wrapped around damage prone areas like door frames. Plastic protective sheeting can also be ordered from us, and there are again many items that it can be used to protect, ranging from chair legs and small components to bulky machine parts and bottles.
